Checkers Industrial Safety Products was founded on safety. Steve Henry launched the Broomfield, Colorado company in 1987 with the goal of “going into mines with safety solutions,” says Cathi McBride, National Accounts and Online Sales Manager for Checkers. “He developed a wheel chock that was lighter weight and easier to lift, but would still hold the large haul trucks.
